Licences

What this website is built on, named and versioned. Everything below is served from our own origin; none of it is fetched from a third party while you read this page.

ComponentVersionLicenceWhat it does here
GSAP3.15.0Standard "No Charge" licenceScroll engine — ScrollTrigger and Flip. Not an OSI licence; permitted for a site like this one, not for resale as a product.
Lenis1.3.26MITSmooth scrolling. Replaced GSAP ScrollSmoother, which transformed a wrapper and broke every fixed element on the page.
Poppins4.003SIL OFL 1.1The front page's typeface, self-hosted in four latin cuts (400/500/600/700) with OFL.txt beside them. Never linked from a font CDN — LG Muenchen I, 3 O 17493/20. The OFL permits it to ship inside a site a client owns, which a retail webfont licence would not have done for free.
Fraunces1.000SIL OFL 1.1The lettering and titles of the chameleon room, with its soft axis set to 100. Self-hosted as one latin subset with Fraunces-OFL.txt beside it; no Reserved Font Name.
Geist1.400SIL OFL 1.1The labels and text of the chameleon room. Self-hosted as one latin subset with Geist-OFL.txt beside it.
React18MITRuns the interactive parts of the front page — the opener, the tool bar, the galleries and the sign-up. Loaded last and deferred; the page is complete and readable before it arrives.
React Bits—MIT + Commons ClauseScrollExpand, PixelSwap, AnimatedContent, FadeContent, LogoLoop and Stepper, modified to run without Tailwind and without a second animation library. The Commons Clause permits use inside a website and forbids selling or redistributing the components themselves — we do the first and never the second.
Codrops (Tympanus) demosScrollBasedLayoutAnimationsMITThe two scroll-scrubbed layout mechanics on this page — the sliced strip and the mosaic — were rebuilt from these demos. The code licence is MIT; their demo photographs are not covered by it and none of them is used here. Every photograph on this page is ours, under the Pexels licence.
Pexels photography—Pexels licenceEvery photograph on this site. Free for commercial use, attribution not required — we credit anyway.
sharp0.35.4Apache-2.0Build-time image processing. It never runs in your browser.

What we do not resell

Some of what we build on is licensed for use but not for resale as a product — GSAP's no-charge licence and the Commons Clause attached to parts of our internal component library both work that way. A licensed component inside a website we deliver to a client is use. A bundle of those components offered as a product is not, and we do not offer one.

Your site

The website we build for you is yours: the copy, the images you supply, the domain and the delivered files. The underlying tooling stays licensed as listed above.
